While parents experience some mood changes during or after giving birth, 15-20% will experience more significant symptoms. Symptoms can appear during pregnancy or during the first year of childbirth.
During this time we are expected to be happy however many women (and men) face some of the most overwhelming and stressful time of their life. These feelings are rarely spoken about with our loved ones or mentioned to medical professionals. The most important thing to remember is that prenatal and postpartum feelings are temporary and there is help for you. We offer a place for you to let all your emotions out and to help you process them.
